Have you thought about asking for something like that?
[ SEEMS STRAIGHT FORWARD. ]
And that's my thinking as well. I've also seen examples of it being possible to extract the mana that's needed but without hurting the spirits. [ IE. his father's invention but different. There could be something there, though. The determination in his face fades as Hiro asks him if he could build it and, well, Jude's a punchy doctor and should honestly have some limits. ] But, no, I don't know how to build them myself.
[ He rubs the back of his neck a bit sullen. ]
The most I could do is provide the theories and fundamentals that could be used for a test product.
Sort of. But it's still pretty early? [AHA...so no. But he really should.]
Don't underestimate how important theories are, dude. Anybody can learn to build but if you don't know what you're trying to build than what's the point? And I think that's pretty cool anyway...I built a lot of stuff for my friends, but they were based on their own ideas and research.
Thanks, and yeah, without ideas people could just build whatever they wanted. [ Isn't that the case for just about everything ever. ] However, I'd say that being someone who can come up with ideas and then carry them out is certainly carries more weight in a serious discussion.
[ Since, you know, actually being able to put his money where his mouth is. ]
What kind of things have you built for your friends?
Maybe that's true. [More than true, but now he just wants to pick Jude's brain a little. On the other hand, he's asking him a question and Hiro finds himself grinning a little even while fiddling with the interior of the game console.]
Well...I kinda built our gear? We use it to protect our city and stuff. And I made Baymax's flightsuit so he could be airborne. It didn't take that long.

Gear? Baymax?
[ Sorry you might have lost him here. ]
I think you might want to start from the beginning.
